Fall Protection

OSHA requires that employers must provide a work place that is free from hazards and that when working on elevated platforms or where holes are present in the floor and walls. OSHA requires that employers provide Fall Protection Equipment and Fall Protection training for employees that are required to work in environments of elevations of four feet or more. Fall Protection equipment is also required by OSHA when working over dangerous equipment and machinery regardless of the height. Employers must Guard every hole into which an employee might accidentally walk. Provide a guard rail around every elevated platform.
